Membership in the Coast Guard Auxiliary is open to men and women who are citizens of the United States and are at least 17 years of age. No boat is required! If you have an interest in learning more about seamanship, helping others, and working with the Coast Guard, you will find the Coast Guard Auxiliary a great place to meet people with similar interests.

While experience or expertise in areas such as education and boating is helpful, the Coast Guard Auxiliary will train you to perform in any of its missions which may be of interest to you.

In addition to attending meetings, your involvement in one or more of our programs is necessary to maintain a strong Auxiliary.

Instructors, Boat Operators, Boat Crew Members, Radio Watch Standers, Vessel Examiners and personnel to hold staff positions or elected offices are always in need.

If you are willing to contribute your time and expertise to the Coast Guard Auxiliary we need you as a member.
